TRIBUS App on Zapier
Access the TRIBUS CRM app here: https://zapier.com/apps/tribus-crm/
Zapier is a tool that allows users to connect web apps together. A connection between two independent apps is called a "Zap."
A Zap consists of two parts: a Trigger and an Action, though it's possible for a Trigger to effect multiple Actions. Whenever a Trigger occurs in one app, Zapier will automatically perform the Action(s) in another app, in the order set forth in the Zap.
It's important to keep in mind that Zaps do not import or export old/existing data, they only operate on new items created after the Zap is enabled.

Choose a trigger from the list of available options and click Save+Continue. (Remember to click the "show more" option if needed.)
Click 'Connect a New Account'

Click "Test" to test your new connection.
A successful connection will look like this:
To proceed, click 'Save + Continue'
If your connection fails, please check the API key and domain that you entered in Step 4 (contact TRIBUS Client Care if you need assistance.)
NOTE: At this point your trigger may offer additional options to filter only in specific scenarios (see image below). This step is not required, and may differ based on the trigger you chose.
Manually trigger your Zap by clicking Fetch & Continue
- Visit your TRIBUS website as a lead (log out of your account first!)
- Complete the action from the trigger that you selected (for example, if you selected the ‘Showing Request Received’ trigger, then Zapier will ask that you complete the Showing Request form)
Once you've successfully completed the trigger, the Zapier page will acknowledge that you're ready to proceed.
Click the prompt to move on to Actions
Select your Actions: What should happen once the TRIBUS trigger has occurred? (you can choose multiple actions per a single trigger)
Select your Action app:
Choose an action from the list of available options and click Save + Continue
Click the "show more" option if needed.
Click Connect a New Account
Enter the required details indicated below and click Yes, Continue
Test the connection and then click to continue if the connection is successful. If your connection fails, please check the API key and domain that you entered in the previous step (contact TRIBUS Client Care if you need assistance)
You will be directed to a page where you can select what data is saved within the action that you chose (this will be different for every action). a. Note that some fields are required. b. Some fields populate default data, which can be edited c. Click the options icon to the right of each field in order to set dynamic data OR fill in the field manually to always set specific data (see second image below)
Click Continue Step 19
To test, allow Zapier to complete the action that you’ve chosen (not required, but recommended). A preview window will display details of your Zap (shown below). If any fields look unusual, return to the previous step.
Look for a "successful test" message. NOTE: Since the action actually occurred, you may want to visit your CRM and delete the test lead that you just created.
Choose either to add another action, or click Finish to complete your set-up process.
Turn the Zap live
Your zap will not begin working until you turn it on - you can turn it back off if you ever need to pause it in the future.
