Intro to Lead Tags
Tags may be applied to leads in your CRM. Tags are also linked with other modules of the system (like marketing, reports and capture forms), in order to make lead management simpler.
Default Lead Tags
Your CRM comes pre-populated with the most commonly used real estate tags:
- Short Term
- Long Term
- Current Client
- Past Client
- New Construction
These tags will always appear above any custom tags you may have created.
The 'Everyone' Tag
The 'Everyone' tag behaves differently than other tags, which are only applied when you manually select them.
'Everyone' is auto-applied to every single lead that enters the TRIBUS CRM. This includes leads created in all of the following ways:
- TRIBUS website lead registrations (via any TRIBUS capture form)
- Manually created leads (TRIBUS CRM > Leads > Add New)
- Imported leads (CSVs sent to TRIBUS Client Care for uploading)
- Leads created by third-party integration partners (via the TRIBUS API)
The 'Everyone' tag is especially helpful when you create Drip or Blast marketing that should be sent to 'all' of your contacts. 'All' is in quotation marks because you're not forced to keep the 'Everyone' tag on every lead in your CRM. You can visit the Lead profile > Details tab at any time to remove the automatically added 'Everyone' tag, which will stop that lead from receiving any future 'Everyone' marketing.
How Tags Can Be Used
You can use tags (both the default tags as well as custom tags) in a variety of ways to help manage the contacts (by default, called 'Leads') in your CRM:
- Lead Profiles (TRIBUS CRM > Leads > Lead Details)
Select a tag, or create your own
- Lead Searches (TRIBUS CRM > Leads)
Search for leads based on default or custom tags
- Drip Marketing (TRIBUS CRM > Drips)
Add auto-subscriber rules
- Blast Marketing (TRIBUS CRM > Blasts)
Add auto-subscriber rules
- Capture Forms (TRIBUS CRM > Capture Forms)
Apply tag(s) as hidden fields, so that leads who submit that form are tagged automatically
Custom Tags: For Agents
Did you know that beyond the list of default tags, you can create brand new custom tags for your leads?
Here's a quick how-to on creating new custom tags, VIDEO: https://cl.ly/3f3n331K120k
Custom tags are user-specific, meaning that as an agent, you'll only see the tags you created (in addition to the default tags choices). You'll never see tags created by other users cluttering up your list.
Once your new tags have been created from one lead's profile, you may select them from the existing tags list in the future.
Custom Tags: For Super Users and Company Site Administrators
Tag lists are user-specific, so the system will only allow you to create new custom tags for leads that you yourself own. However, you will be able to view custom tags created by users in your account when you are viewing data that belongs to them (leads, drip marketing, blast marketing, and capture forms).
For lead searches, drip marketing, blast marketing and capture forms; you'll need to first select an agent in order for the Tags field to populate the appropriate tags list for that user (otherwise, you'll only see the list of default tags).
Examples of how Super Users and Administrators can filter to see an agent's custom tags:
- Lead Searches
- Drip Marketing
- Blast Marketing
- Capture Forms
Additional tags features:
- A more comprehensive tag manager to edit and delete custom tags
- Network options where Super Users may edit the default tags list
